Delivery for orders above £150 is free of charge
England and Wales is
charged at £7.95 per order for orders under £150 Minimum order
£75 Scottish Lowlands is charged at £8.95 per order for orders
under £150 Minimum order £75 (Scottish Highlands - Please
telephone for cost) including packaging and VAT. There is a
surcharge of £6.00 for all deliveries to Scilly Isles and Isle
of Wight. This applies to Monday to Friday next day deliveries.
Orders received by 12.00 noon can be with you the following day.
Before 12:00 noon and Saturday deliveries are subject to a
surcharge, please phone for special delivery options.
Orders dispatched will
arrive within 5 working days, (UK Mainland). Claims, breakages
and returns - please check your order on arrival and report any
breakages to us within 24 hours of delivery. We will accept
returns and give refunds where the wine has not been opened or
damaged. Unless there is a fault with the wine the cost of the
return will be charged at our cost price. If your order has
arrived in an unsatisfactory condition, please keep the full
contents of the order and contact us by email, or telephone.
Vintages: We will endeavour to ensure that all vintages are
correct however if the vintage of the wine is important please
confirm the vintage when ordering.
Availability of wines
- despite our best efforts to maintain absolutely accurate stock
records we are occasionally unable to fulfil an order, in such
cases we will substitute the wine for a later vintage or
alternative of equal or greater value.
It is against the law to
sell or supply intoxicating substances to persons under the age
of 18 years old. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the
recipient of an order, they will request some form of ID. In the
event that this is not satisfied, they are not permitted to
leave the product at the delivery address.
Having asked our customers
if they wanted to order on line or to contact us directly, the
vast majority choose to contact us. The reason for this was to
ensure the wine required was in stock and the correct vintage
was available. Customers also said they preferred to speak to
knowledgeable people with whom they could ask advice regarding
