Louis Segundo Correas
The Correas family first
planted vines in 1860. Based in the Mendoza wine region,
they now have 400 hectares and it is the 4th generation that run the business.
The Bonarda has just been awarded 93 points in James Suckling: ‘lovely notes of
citrus,
blueberries, cinnamon and raspberry cheesecake. The palate shows real depth with
vibrant
acidity, structured tannins and a long finish.’ – a high accolade indeed. The
Malbec Roble
comes from 85 year old vines, aged in French oak for 10 months, developing a
wonderful
blend of plum fruit and vanilla oak. The flagship Rosedal Malbec is named after
their mother
and only comes from the best plots and oldest vines and is surprisingly complex
and elegant.
